So you’ve decided to start a small group . . . Yay!!!!!
We are so excited for you. It’s actually pretty easy so you can relax. We’re here to help in anyway possible.
Simply invite some friends over, let everyone know how they can get a copy of the study, and then choose a time and meeting location.
Once you’ve sent out the invites. We recommend creating a Facebook group to help your group stay connected. We also suggest using text reminders as well as social media to post reminders with time and location. Reminder to comment with @everyone so everyone in your group gets a notification of your reminder or post.

Culture is everything. It is absolutely critical that this stays a safe space and is always 100% free from gossip or negativity. Its very easy to maintain as long as you set the boundaries from day one.
How do you do this?
Once everyone gathers simply start out by thanking everyone for coming, give a rundown of what the evening will look like, and then simply let everyone know that what is said in this group stays in this group. Remind them that no negative talk about others will be allowed. We want to honor others. We think you’ll find that people love this and are very happy to follow the culture that the you the leader create.
One of the best ways to be sure the conversation stays positive is to keep it Jesus focused. Use scripture, encouragement, and love to guide the conversations.

Once everyone has their book or pdf version of Armor Up, we recommend the following for your group outline. First, we recommend an hour and a half meeting time. 7-8:30 pm usually works well for most on weekday nights, however, weekend and daytime classes work well too. Whatever fits your group best.
Either way this outline seems to work very well.
15 min - welcome guest, snacks, and relational time.
15 min - open study with group welcome, housekeeping, praise reports, and prayer
20 min - discussion from previous weeks daily work.
Questions to consider
1. What have been the major take aways?
2. What are the highlights form the secret place times.
20 min - watch the video of the week
10 min - discuss the video of the week you just watched.
10 min - prayer request and closing prayer
